You'd like a poem writing that's personalised to someone special, but you don't know where to begin...

Step 1

You've come to the right place! Get in touch to get started. Let me know who the poem is for, when you need it by and what sort of poem you're looking for e.g. a 'best man' speech, a birthday poem to give as a gift, an invite to an event, 'in memory of' etc. 

Step 2

I'll be in touch and send you a questionnaire specific to the nature of the poem you're looking for.  We'll also set a date and time for your FREE one hour consultation (Step 3). This will give you the time between now and then to have a think about the answers you would give and you can always ask family and friends for their input too.

Step 3

'The Consultation' - this is where the magic happens! Your FREE one hour consultation allows me to really get to know the person I am writing the poem about through talking with yourself.  

We'll go through the questionnaire and discuss the answers you've come up with so that I have all the details necessary to create a personalised poem for your someone special! The consultation can be via phone or video call, whichever you prefer. 

*As long as you're happy to proceed after the consultation, a 50% non-refundable deposit payment will be taken at this stage of the service. Please see 'Packages' for a breakdown of products and costs.

Step 4

I'll create a bespoke poem for your someone special that incorporates the personalised information you have provided me with. 

When the poem is finished, I'll be in touch to let you know that your poem is ready to read. It is at this stage that you would pay for the remainder of the service and upon receipt of payment, I would email you the poem in it's design along with an audio clip . This will give you a feel for the rhythm of the poem, which can be really handy if it is to be read out loud!

Step 5

It's really important to me that your poem is perfect for the person you had it in mind for! Therefore, included in the service are 2 sets of FREE edits! 

If you're not completely happy with the poem and would like it's design, verses, lines, words  or punctuation editing, you can let me know and I will change these for you at no additional cost. You can include as many changes as you wish per set and this process can be repeated twice. Should you require further edits beyond this point, this will incur a charge.
